This is a new poem which I have written for Earth Day, describing the destruction and pollution by humans.
The sun is shining, the oceans crash
Nature was fine, until we filled it with trash
Rainforest's where the critters dwell
Until we cut it all down and placed them in cells
Zoos we call it but its more a prison
Tho they do preserve what we have driven to extinction
Natures enemy really should be man
We have cut and burned her and desecrated her land
